Outside, residents and families enjoy our inviting and lush courtyard and a spacious backyard adorned with beautiful garden beds. Our Care Services
Enhancing Independence & Wellness
At Brentwood at Elkhart, residents receive tailored care in order to live as independently as possible. Care services include support with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and hygiene. Our knowledgeable team members coordinate with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals.
Short-Term Respite Care
Temporary care is available for residents who may need assistance after a hospital or rehab stay, or when caregivers plan a vacation or just need some time to relax and recharge. You will receive all of the amenities and care that you need, but for a shorter, predetermined length of stay.

Life Enrichment
Our Life Enrichment Programming puts your passions front and center! Crafted around resident input, it ensures the well-being of our residents by addressing the mind, body, and soul.
Through weekly outings to local restaurants, shopping trips, and outdoor activities, residents cultivate meaningful relationships while staying connected to the local community of Elkhart. Outpatient physical and occupational therapy services are available right here in our community! Our goal is to help residents maintain their independence, improve their mobility, and continue doing the things they enjoy most.
Our therapy services can help residents:
🩺 Manage pain and improve comfort with daily activities
💪 Build strength and endurance to support everyday function
⚖️ Improve balance and coordination to help reduce the risk of falls
🚶 Improve walking patterns, mobility, and safety
🤲 Improve independence with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and other everyday tasks through occupational therapy
🌟 Maintain independence and quality of life while supporting residents in reaching their individual goals
One of the greatest benefits? Convenience!
Therapy services are provided right here in the building, eliminating the need to travel to an outside clinic for outpatient therapy appointments. This means less time spent coordinating transportation and more time focusing on health, wellness, and independence.
Whether you are experiencing pain, noticing changes in your balance or walking, feeling weaker than usual, or simply looking to maintain your current abilities, therapy may be able to help.
Residents and family members are encouraged to ask questions and learn more about how physical and occupational therapy can support their individual needs.
